Students funding
The organising committee of the 7th Biennial Conference of the European Rural History Organisation (EURHO), which will take place in Coimbra on 9-12 September 2025, is pleased to announce the possibility to support PhD students without funding.
The funding will be granted by waiving the registration fee for PhD students who wish to attend the event in order to present a paper. Applications will be evaluated on the basis of the motivation and the totality of funding requested by all applicants.
Application for funding will be possible from 14 February to 15 March 2025 (23:59, Lisbon time). To be eligible, once the paper has been accepted, we ask PhD students to send the following documents to the congress email address ruralhistory2025@gmail.com
+ English CV
+ Motivation letter
+ A recommendation written by the student’s PhD supervisor (optional)
The successful applicants will be announced until the 31th of March 2025. Those students who are not among the selected candidates will still have time to register by paying the early participation fee until 15 April 2025.
